Handcrafted in the UK with precision and care, it is built from smooth-planed, pressure-treated softwood for durability and low maintenance. Its sturdy 70mm thick mortise and tenon jointed framework ensures lasting strength and security. Reinforced with three horizontal rails and diagonal bracing on the back, the gate offers superior rigidity. The bottom section features a vertical-clad tongue and groove panel for a classic look, while the open top section is fitted with metal bars and spear-shaped finials for an elegant, timeless finish.

Posts: When installing, we always recommend using wooden posts because they provide a sturdy and reliable support structure. If you are fitting the gates between an existing masonry structure, you can wall-mount the posts for a secure hold. Alternatively, you can set them into the ground using concrete, which offers excellent stability. In both cases, it is essential to ensure that the opening between the posts is 20mm wider than the gate you order. This additional space allows for the necessary hinge & latch clearance, ensuring smooth operation and a proper fit.
