Height Dimensions: This measurement is taken from the bottom of the gate to its highest point. However, it does not account for the necessary ground clearance. When installing, we generally recommend allowing a minimum gap of 50mm to ensure smooth operation. Nevertheless, this may vary depending on your driveway layout, so it is essential to assess your specific requirements before proceeding. Posts: When installing, we always recommend using wooden posts because they provide a sturdy and reliable support structure. If you are fitting the gates between an existing masonry structure, you can wall-mount the posts for a secure hold. Alternatively, you can set them into the ground using concrete, which offers excellent stability. In both cases, it is essential to ensure that the opening between the posts is 20mm wider than the gate you order. This additional space allows for the necessary hinge & latch clearance, ensuring smooth operation and a proper fit.
